Last updated: July 17, 2026 This Privacy Policy explains, in plain words, what information the Phở Bowl website (https://phobowlcapecoral.com) collects, why, and what we do with it. Phở Bowl is a Vietnamese restaurant at 106 Hancock Bridge Pkwy W, Ste C-13, Cape Coral, FL 33991, phone (239) 800-4832. The restaurant (Pho Bowl Cape Coral Inc) owns the website and brand; the site is built and managed for us by our marketing agency, GatorBoy Marketing. We tried to keep this simple and honest — it describes only what the website actually does today. Please note: this is a general, plain-language template, not legal advice. Before the business relies on it, an attorney should review it.
What personal information we collect
We only collect the information we need to serve you. Depending on what you do on the site, that may include:
- Online pickup orders: your name, phone number, email address (email is optional), the food items you order, any special-instruction notes you add, and the pickup time you request.
- Reviews: if you choose to leave a review, we collect your name, a star rating (1 to 5), and your written comment.
- Guestbook (events page): if you sign the guestbook, we collect your name and a short message.
That's it. The website has no login accounts and no passwords — you do not create an account to order.
How we use your information
We use the information you give us only to run the restaurant and serve you:
- To prepare and get your pickup order ready, and to know when you're coming to pick it up.
- To contact you about your order if we need to (for example, by phone), and — if you gave us your email — we may send you an order-confirmation email.
- To show your review publicly on our site — but only after the owner reads and approves it (see below).
- To display guestbook messages from our events, after we review them.
We do not use your information to send you marketing texts or spam. The website does not send SMS/text messages to customers, and we do not run any customer email-marketing list.
Who can see your order
When you place a pickup order, the order details go to a private staff screen inside the restaurant (our "kitchen" screen) so our team can prepare it. This screen is not public.
So you can check on your order, the website also gives you a live order-status page. That page is reached through a random tracking link (a "token") created for your order. Anyone who has that specific link can see that order's status, so it's best not to share it. The link stops working once the order record auto-deletes (see below).
Reviews and guestbook are moderated
When you submit a review, it is not shown right away. The owner reviews it first, and it only appears on the public website after the owner approves it. Guestbook messages from the events page are also checked by us and are not posted live. This helps keep the site accurate and respectful. If you'd like a review or message you submitted removed, just call the restaurant at (239) 800-4832.
Where your information is stored, and how long
- Online order records are stored using Cloudflare KV (a secure online storage service used by our website). These order records automatically delete themselves after about 2 to 3 days. We do not keep a long-term database of your orders on the website.
- Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like almost all websites, the hosting service (Cloudflare) automatically records basic technical server logs when people visit — this is a normal part of running and protecting a website.
- If you provided an email for an order confirmation, we may use an email service called Brevo to send that confirmation email.
'Cloudflare' and 'Brevo' are outside companies that provide the technical services (website hosting and sending emails) that make the site work.
Payment — no card information is handled by the website today
Right now, all online orders are pay-at-pickup. You pay in the store with cash or a card when you pick up your food. This means the website does not collect, process, or store any credit or debit card numbers today.
We are planning to add online card payment in the future through a trusted payment company called Stripe. When that goes live, Stripe will process your card securely and the website itself still will not store your card number. If online payment is added, a card processing fee (about 3%) would be shown to you at checkout before you pay. Until then, there is no online card payment on the site.
Cookies and information stored on your device
Our website uses something called 'localStorage' — a small amount of information saved inside your own web browser, on your own device. We use it only for basic, helpful things:
- To remember the items in your shopping cart.
- To remember your language choice (English or Spanish).
- To hold a random order-tracking token so you can check your order's live status.
This information stays on your device and is not used for advertising. The website does not currently use any third-party advertising trackers or ad-analytics tools that follow you around the internet.
Other companies and links on our site
Our website connects to or links out to some other services. When you use them, their own privacy policies apply, not ours:
- Google Maps: we show a map of the restaurant using Google Maps embedded on the site.
- Third-party ordering apps: we link out to Uber Eats, DoorDash, and Grubhub. If you order through them, you're on their platform under their rules and privacy policies.
- Social and review sites: we link out to Facebook, Yelp, and Google. Anything you do on those sites is covered by their own privacy policies.
We encourage you to read the privacy policies of any outside service you choose to use.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information to anyone. We do not trade it or rent it out for advertising. We only use it to run the restaurant and serve you, as described above, and we only share it with the technical service providers (like Cloudflare and Brevo) needed to make the website and your order work.
Children's privacy
Our website is meant for the general public in the Cape Coral and Southwest Florida area. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, please call us at (239) 800-4832 and we will remove it.
See or delete your information
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, or ask us to delete it. Because online order records auto-delete after about 2 to 3 days on their own, there is usually very little to keep. To make a request, simply call the restaurant:
Phở Bowl 106 Hancock Bridge Pkwy W, Ste C-13, Cape Coral, FL 33991 Phone: (239) 800-4832
We'll help you access or remove your information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — for example, when online card payment goes live. When we do, we'll change the 'Last updated' date at the top of the page. Please check back now and then to see the current version.
A note about this page
This Privacy Policy is a general, plain-language template written for a small restaurant. It is not legal advice. Before the business relies on it, an attorney should review it to make sure it fits Phở Bowl's actual practices and meets the laws that apply in Florida and the United States.
